In the same vein as the peeler, this is an awesome Swiss designed can opener.  If you live overseas and especially somewhere you don't have access to good hospital services, this is the can opener for you.  It opens it and it's safe.  It truly is magic—lid just pops off!

When you live cross culturally, there is inevitable stress, even when you are happy.  This will reduce your stress.  No sharp edges and it works and lasts!  I got this in the U.S., but I wish that I would have had it overseas.  I had cheap or poorly designed can openers.  I would take this with me.  Next time...
