You don't need this in rural Africa, but you might want it!

I always try to think of non electrical kitchen helps when going to a place where you cannot always rely on power.  This is one such item.  A cast iron panini press.  Again, you get so tired of the same old same old, so this helps mix it up a little.  It is great for sandwiches or anything you need flattened while cooking.  It also can double as a weapon if you need it to--packs a punch.  Not that I ever needed that, BUT, hey, I am from Houston, we think about these things.  I got mine at Tuesday Morning.
