Tuna and Hummus, for real?

I just finished eating a tuna and hummus sandwich. Yes, it works! I love Ina Garten and she knows her flavor profiles. Full, disclosure, my high school aged girls did not like the combo but they did like it separated out. My husband did like it, so that’s a win. I am including this in my Bonafide Lunches category because the recipe was easy and yummy. She knows her portions and amounts! In my cook book she said that she took this from the Belgian chain Le Pain Quotidian I also would have totally made this living in Uganda, Hungary or France! . I like recipes that you can substitute anything. If you can’t find cornichons (French small pickles, Maille is the brand we have), you can use baby dill pickles…I would not use any type of sweet pickles or relish for this b/c it is more savory. I also had tuna in water, so I just added the olive oil separate.
Here is the recipe! Bon Appetit!!
